Biotech is booming, but most of it is happening in labs and startups you're unlikely to hear about, announced in papers nobody reads. I read them for fun. Then I pull at threads, digging into the science and the business, and report back on what's real, what's close, and what's just a beautiful promo video.
Before finance, there was biology. I studied biomedical science and molecular biology, then forensic biology and toxicology — the sciences of how life works and how it ends. Then I spent years as a COO, then a CFO, ending up at a NASDAQ-listed company, learning how companies work and how they end.
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me running ultramarathons in the mountains, eating my way around the world, or buried in a good book.

Also advising digital business buyers, founders, and investment funds on operator-led due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and value creation.

Joined as COO and was promoted through President to CFO, helping build and take a digital holding company public on NASDAQ. Expanded the team from 5 to 32 and grew monthly recurring revenue by over 700%. Responsible for financial reporting, SEC compliance, investor relations, and operational strategy across a portfolio of digital businesses.
